CALL ACCOUNTING


Microcall software runs on a personal computer and collects call records from your business phone system, computes a cost for each call, and generates unlimited reports.

Costing Calls:
Microcall properly identifies and costs calls using V&H based costing, including the most common rate plans for AT&T, MCI and SPRINT. Microcall's costing options are so flexible that you can easily enter or import your own negotiated long distance rates as well as fixed costs per minute, trunk group costing, message unit costing, banded costing, fixed costs per call, on/off-net costing, and more.

For executive suites and shared tenant environments, Microcall allows you to bill tenants separately for their calls as well as assign different rates to each tenant.

Account Code Costing:
Account Codes are often used in businesses like Law Firms, Accounting Firms, Advertising Firms and so forth that wish to bill clients for calls made on their behalf. Microcall will track and cost calls using Account Codes (Client/Matter Numbers) and these codes can be up to 16 digits in length. Microcall even includes extra fields if you wish to enter in a company name, address, etc., associated with an Account Code.

For those who forget to enter Account Codes, Microcall automatically emails a list of calls ‘without’ Account Codes so that adjustments can be made prior to final billing. Microcall also automatically outputs data to a third party billing system often used in law/accounting firms to consolidate all bills.

Authorization Code Costing:
Many business as well as organizations such as Colleges/Universities and Retirement Communities use Authorization Codes which requires a code to be entered into the phone before a long distance call can be made. Microcall will track and cost calls by Authorization Code ensuring that the proper department and/or person are billed for their calls regardless of where the call was made.
