Microcall provides numerous reports that help to effectively manage your traffic and trunks. Microcall reports show the number of calls, duration and cost for each Circuit or Trunk Group for each hour of the day. It also lists the total calls, duration and cost for your entire telephone system for each hour of the day and, the percentage of trunk capacity used. Microcall reports are a powerful tool for determining if new trunks are needed or too many trunks are installed. By looking at the percent of capacity used, you can determine whether a certain Trunk Group has too many or too few circuits.

Microcall reports can also measure the volume of phone traffic between offices, the frequency of high volume patterns as well as long distance expenses associated with these calls. If this report shows that your company has high calling traffic between remote offices, you may also have a large long distance bill related to this traffic. By producing historical reports like – “How much was your company’s long distance expenses between offices, over the past 3 years?”, you can determine if this high volume of calling is a fluke or if there is a pattern of high long distance expense each month. Armed with these results, you can compare your current expenses with those associated with implementing dedicated lines or a VoIP solution.
